Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 vs Snapdragon 8 Gen 1: tests and benchmarks (2)

The Snapdragon 8th gen 2 is great for gaming for several years. It's capable of running heavy games, just like its predecessors; 7th gen 1, 7th gen 2, 8th gen 1 and 2. Even my super-old Snapdragon 690 with Adreno 619 can handle AAA games like Genshin Impact and Call of Duty, as well as run PUBG smoothly. Now, consider the difference between Adreno 619 and 740, yet the older model still manages to handle games. This leads me to believe that the entire Adreno 700 series is very impressive for gaming.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 offers significant improvements over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, including performance per watt, features, and connectivity. Another major change is the addition of "Ray Tracing" capabilities, a feature not found in previous chips. As games start to leverage this technology, it could lead to some of the most graphically impressive and immersive gaming experiences ever. Beyond gaming, these features could also provide a robust dev-kit for developers and artists looking to create AI-based illustrations.

3 Crazy Facts about Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that will change your criticisms of Snapdragon:One by one let's summarize the biggest changes and how Qualcomm is Secretly Killing Apple Bionic Chipset🤫. Qualcomm Made a little GENIUS to its 8 Gen 2🤔.Hottest Fact #1 (GPU)- According to a Test conducted by a well-known Tech reviewer the Adreno 740 is almost the same performance and Graphical Score as an NVidia GTX 1050 PC GPU while it was clock only at 680Mhz and only consumes 8 Watts, a 30% Boost over Adreno 730 HOLY COW! 😮. And a Big Revelation part is that Apple's A16 Bionic GPU is as same as the A15 Bionic of last year what a surprise! The only upgrade is the DDR5 which only lessens 15% Power Consumption Apple Is now starting to scam customers because of this conservative move.Hottest Fact #2 (CPU)- Did u realize guys that the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has an Extra P (Performance) Core? You think guys it will add another power consumption right? Well, you're wrong!!! You see the additional P Cores on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 are pretty Genius. The additional P Cores are not to add power consumption but to lessen the heat. 1x Cortex X3 is the main core for loading apps, 2x Cortex A715 a P core only for 64-bit applications, 2x Cortex A-710 for 64 and 32 Bit and 3x Cortex A510 Power Efficiency core, the core setup is 1, 4, 3 Configuration. It means that 2x Cortex A710 will Process 32 Bit, and 2x Cortex A715 Process 64 Bit im soo amazed with this brilliant idea it does lessen the heat and power consumption than the previous 1, 3, and 4 configurations of the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with 3x Cortex A710 which process both 64 bit and 32 bit which build up the heat. How does it lessen Power Consumption? Well, Performance Cores does computes bigger chunks of data the quicker it processes. The Power Efficiency of small cores does consume a lot with the idea of a slow computational cycle. While the additional P Core helps the computation more quicker without peaking the clock speed.Hottest Fact #3 (Power consumption)- This is a back-and-forth battle, According to a well-known Tech Reviewer Again, Apple's A16 Bionic retains the title of being the king of Power efficiency it's way way more conservative than the screen time lasted 8 Hours and 8 Mins while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is a surprise Why? it reaches 7 Hours and 35 Mins screen time a big jump boost over Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's 5 Hours and 45 Mins Screen time, Now Qualcomm is making a serious Chipset OMG! A GTX 1050 on a Phone which Lasts 7 Hours while only consuming 8 Watts Hahaha! What a Joke!. In a test on a well-known game called Genshin Impact, Apple's A16 Bionic consumes a lot of GPU power around 11 watts while the FPS is at 40 while Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 consumes only 8.75 watts while the FPS is consistent at 60 FPS. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the undisputed king of GPU.

Now that's some Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 facts!I'll upgrade to a new phone in early moments of 2024, which we had the Samsung Galaxy S24 then, and I've heard rumors that Samsung is going to use the Exynos 2400 in their Galaxy S24 Series :/Exynos chips are pretty bad to my perspective, if they do then I'll go for the last year's Samsung Galaxy S23 Series that were powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2!
