The people there were really nice. They have very flex about schedule for you. It’s cheap, you can study online or in person if u want.

Overall this college is great. The professors and staff are friendly and helpful. The college is slowly taking change to improve campus facilities. I however would like to see the college put more safety measures at the crosswalks. It seems though that the school is working on that as well just not as fast a students feel like it should happen.

I have only attended as a student for a short amount of time, but some of the classes for first years seem unnecessary.

The campus only has two places to eat unfortunately, and if you don't have a meal pass, to get food in the cafeteria is 15 dollars. They have the Crane Cafe which is better for food, but it gets crowded very quickly. The campus isn't very well maintained, and half the buildings aren't used. It costs an absurd amount to keep a car on campus, even if you commute.

The school is being severely underfunded for their teachers and student resources, but they constantly promise that they're the best which is a lie. The teachers had to unionize recently because of the mistreatment they put up with from higher ups. Also, they promise students jobs on campus but when a student applies they are constantly rejected regardless of how qualified they are for the positions.

Great students and professors alike. Everyone here is down to earth and understanding. There is a pretty laid back atmosphere when your not working on something.

The environment on campus was great. The peers and professors were largely helpful and constructive with feedback. Never did I feel as though I had to compete with anyone in order to become successful.

Overall it's a very welcoming and positive school, just wish they would let you know about all the things you have to pay for before applying, it'd make it easier to plan

CCAD is a great place to make connections and some of the professors I've had during my first year have been wonderful. It's also great how open the college is to everyone's identities and how quick it can be to make friends, especially in the first year dorms. However, there are issues with staff and reports not always being taken seriously, so I do hope those are fixed.

My first year at CCAD was a great experience. Everything is fairly easy to find and there is a lot of people that are willing to help you find your way. Classes are not too hard and I overall enjoy them. My professors are very helpful and understanding and their lectures better my understanding and skill set in general. CCAD has a great community and a lot of friendly faces.

My overall experience at CCAD was a wonderful experience. Starting with the classes. The class sizes were small so u got alot of one on one experience and the proper attention when needed. I also liked the fact that every class was based around some sort of art, whether it be math, history science. All of them where art related. I also liked the size of the college and how convenient all my classes were. Everything was within one city block. Dorms, cafeteria, parking, and safety office was all so close. There was really no need to leave campus, but if you did the school is based in the heart of columbus ohio. there was even a art supply store on campus if you needed something without leaving.

CCAD truly gives a personal experience unlike any other school! It is the perfect size and I feel like it is the perfect place for me. Personal 1-1 attention from professors and attending school with other people who are there for the ART! No other majors... just people like me, addicted to everything art. CCAD = WIN!!

I’m pretty new here, but I like it so far. What I like about it is that it’s a very beautiful campus that is within radius to where I live and the people here are really nice and helpful. What I don’t like is that they don’t really have too many options to pay for my tuition. But overall, I’m really liking the campus and I hope to stay here.

The Columbus College of Art &Design is an amazing institution full of student engagement, encouraging faculty. But most importantly amazing facilities allowing a student embrace their full potential so they may create truly awe inspiring art work.

My experience with CCAD has been incredible. Starting college in 2020 was very hard due to the pandemic and i didn't expect everything to go this smooth. I'm very happy with my decision

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at CCAD. I had a lot of creative freedom, and there is a great community there, with a very mid-Western friendliness. Personally, I believe that art school mostly exists to teach you how to expand your mind creatively and what techniques can be used to do so. It isn't necessarily there to teach you how to exist in the industry that you'd like to work in, whether that means being a fashion designer or working in film or photography.

We stopped hiring from here.
I attended back from 2012-2016 and work full time as a graphic designer in Columbus. The quality of work has plummeted from CCAD unfortunately in recent years and it no longer requires a portfolio review to get into. Look at cheaper and more renowned schools like Cincinnati. I left school with over 120,000 in debt. Many of my friends were never able to get jobs and now work at Starbucks with over 1,300 in student loan payments each month. How will they ever pay that off.

I’m very proud to be a CCAD alum. I find myself forming connections with people who either went to CCAD or love someone who did. I did Industrial Design and use those skills as a UX Researcher now.

Good facilities, not enough professors. The one's that are there are good. Need better connection to alums. To help connect students to jobs and companies.
