The flowers are deep purplish-red, domed, and scabiosa-like.
It does best in light to medium shade, moist soil as well as temperature conditions ranging from 14°C to 27°C.
Kniphofia
Kniphofia or red hot poker plant is a genus of perennial plants that grow in the southern and eastern regions of Africa.
It belongs to the family Asphodelaceae and is usually found close to river banks and on hillsides.
Kolkwitzia
The Kolkwitzia amabilis, also known as the Beauty Bush, is a popular garden shrub that produces delicate white flowers in mid-summer.
Kolkwitzias is native to low altitude forest regions of South America and are unaccustomed to frosty conditions so it is best to keep Kolkwitzias in areas protected from cold weather, such as in a courtyard or garden.
